Levittown Senior Selected to Participate in Business Leadership Summit

During the summer, Division Avenue High School senior George Hores attended the Business Leadership Summit through LIU’s Summer Honors Institute program. 

During the intensive five-day program, George had the opportunity to work with distinguished faculty professors and guest executive mentors and explored the areas of entrepreneurship, management, problem-solving, negotiation, finance and team-building.

George is enrolled in the high school’s College Introduction to Business class and was selected by his business teacher, Alice LoGiudice, to attend the summit. He is president of Best Buddies, a member of the National Honor Society and actively involved in the science research program.
