Levittown-Based BBBSLI Appoints New Director of Development

Jamison Skala has been named Director of Development at Big Brothers Big Sisters of Long Island (BBBSLI). He brings more than 13 years of annual fund, capital campaign, endowment, athletic development and event experience to the agency. 

Skala will oversee all fundraising programs supporting the BBBSLI mission to provide quality mentoring, education and support services to children on Long Island

 “Jamison is a great addition to the BBBSLI team and brings a tremendous amount of development experience,” said BBBSLI CEO Mark Cox. “Through his various positions at universities around the area, he has a great network on Long Island which will be very beneficial for our agency.”

Incorporated in 1977, BBBSLI operates under the belief that inherent in every child is the ability to succeed and shine. BBBSLI makes meaningful, professionally supported matches between adult volunteers (‘Bigs’) and children (‘Littles’). Our mission is to promote the positive growth and development of Long Island’s children by providing quality mentoring, education and support services.

BBBSLI serves Long Island from their Levittown office, located at 70 Acorn Ln. in The E. David Woycik Jr. Building. They also have offices in Suffolk County in Islandia, and in Hampton Bays.
