For the fifth consecutive year, the Division Avenue High School Science Olympiad team has earned the opportunity to compete in the New York State Finals held on March 8-9 in Monroe, N.Y. and has won the coveted Spirit Award. The Spirit Award is earned by only one school each year and is voted on by all of the event supervisors at the competition.
Guidance counselor Lynn Castellano and sophomore Christina Reilly created and promoted an enormously spirited effort based on the theme of Disney’s “Where Dreams Come True.”
