LI Weekly Weather: Mostly Clear And Sunny Skies, Mild Temps Ahead
There are brief and small chances of rain during the week, but it's likely to be sunny skies for Long Island.

LONG ISLAND, NY — After the crazy storms that pelted Long Island on Sunday night, it seems Mother Nature is going to take it easy. The rest of the week looks to be sunny and mild, with only a brief window with a small chance of rain.
According to the National Weather Service, the weather all week should be sunny, with only a few clouds in the sky. Temperatures will decrease as the week goes on, with highs going from the mid 70s to the upper 60s.
There's a small chance of showers this afternoon, and in the afternoon on Wednesday. But even if it does rain, it won't stick around for very long. Then it's back to clear and sunny skies.
