List: Hundreds Of Levittown Businesses Took Out PPP Loans

LEVITTOWN, NY — Hundreds of businesses in Levittown took out small and large loans as part of the federal Paycheck Protection Program, which was created to help them continue paying workers amid the coronavirus pandemic, data released Monday showed.

The U.S. Small Business Administration released details on individual loans doled out under the program, commonly known as PPP. The data looked at loans taken out that amounted to more than $150,000, as well as those that took out loans of less than $150,000.

Overall, loans of over $150,000 accounted for nearly 75 percent of the money approved, officials said. That data includes business names, addresses, industry and ZIP codes, business type, demographic data, nonprofit information, lender name, jobs supported and loan amount ranges.

For all loans below $150,000, the federal government did not disclose individual business names or addresses.

Large Loans

Levittown saw 35 loans taken out of at least $150,000, records showed. No companies took out loans of between $5 million to $10 million, the highest bracket, nor between $2 million and $5 million, the second-highest.

However, five companies took out loans of between $1 million and $2 million: Hunter Business School, Jab & Co., Levittown Ford, TC Jeep, and United Northern Mortgage Bankers. The businesses indicated 481 jobs would be retained.

Small Loans

In Levittown, 424 loans were taken out for under $150,000. The loans range from as low as $134 all the way up to $147,500. The median small loan taken out was $20,675.
