Long Beach Fire Department To Hold Annual 9/11 Tribute
It takes place on Sept. 11 at 7 p.m. at West Park Avenue.
LONG BEACH, NY — As the 24th anniversary approaches, a commemoration will be held in Long Beach in honor of those who were killed on 9/11.
The City of Long Beach Fire Department, in conjunction with the City of Long Beach, will hold the solemn tribute on September 11 at 7 p.m. It will be seen in the eastbound lanes of West Park Avenue (between Lafayette and Washington boulevards).
Fire engines and ladders will line the street with an American flag in the center.
