Motorcyclist Critically Hurt In Nassau Crash: Police

LEVITTOWN, NY — A motorcyclist was badly hurt when he was struck by an SUV in Levittown on Sunday afternoon, police said.

The 54-year-old victim was heading northbound on Valley Road when his 2019 Aprilia motorcycle was involved in a collision with a 2022 Buick SUV, authorities said.

The motorcyclist suffered serious injuries and was taken to an area hospital in critical condition, police said.

The 20-year-old female driver remained at the scene, police said.

An investigation is ongoing.
