Nassau Boy Hit By Car While Riding His Bike: Police

Police say the boy suffered injuries to his head and legs, and was airlifted to a hospital.

LEVITTOWN, NY — A boy was injured after being hit by a car while riding his bicycle in Levittown Monday morning, Nassau County police said.

According to police, a 12-year-old boy was riding his bicycle near the intersection of Bucket Lane and Grassy Lane when he was hit by a 2022 Toyota Siena being driven by a 33-year-old woman.

Police say the boy suffered injuries to his head and legs, and was airlifted to a hospital for treatment. He is in stable condition.
