Nassau County Police Arrest 5 For DWI

NASSAU COUNTY, NY — The Nassau County Police Department reported the following arrests for driving while intoxicated for the week of May 26 to June 2.

All charges are merely accusations.

• Lydia E. Ghignon, 63, of Merrick, was arrested at midnight on May 28 on Meadowbrook Road in North Merrick.
• Matthew J. Morin, 27, of Palm Beach Gardens, Florida, was arrested at 1:15 a.m. on May 30 on Old Country Road in Westbury.
• Frenel Cauvil, 62, of Freeport, was arrested at 9:05 p.m. on May 30 on Hewlett Avenue N in Merrick.
• Ismael de Jesus Cifuentes , 45, of Hempstead, was arrested at 11 p.m. on May 30 on Woodfield Road in West Hempstead.
• Randy D. Acosta, 23, of Manorhaven, was arrested at 12:48 a.m. on May 31 on Winthrop Drive in Uniondale.
