Officer Injured Arresting Man Who Became 'Violent And Combative' In Levittown: NCPD
The man struck another man's phone, and an officer attempting to take the man into custody suffered an arm injury, police say.

LEVITTOWN, NY — A Levittown man was arrested after a Nassau police officer was injured while attempting to take him into custody in connection with a fight with another man on Monday, police said.
Officers were called to a Levittown home for a disturbance around 4:10 p.m., police said. The officers were informed that an argument between Tucker Hahn, 28, and another man, 34, escalated into a fight, police said. Hahn struck the other man's phone, police said.
Officers tried to place Hahn in custody when he became "violent and combative," causing an officer to suffer an injury to his arm, police said. Hahn was placed under arrest and transported to a nearby hospital for evaluation and treatment, police said. The injured officer was also transported to a local hospital for treatment, police said.

Hahn was charged with second-degree assault; fourth-degree criminal mischief; and second-degree obstructing governmental administration, police said.
He had been scheduled for arraignment on Tuesday at First District Court, at 99 Main St., Hempstead.
