Police Issue Silver Alert for Missing Levittown Woman

Nassau County Police have issued a Silver Alert for a missing Levittown woman who they said suffers from a cognitive disorder and is not taking her medication. 

Delilah Ramirez, 36, was last seen leaving her group home on July 1 and was carrying a large duffle bag full of clothing, police said. 

Ramirez is listed as bi-racial, 5'5", 200 lbs. with brown hair and brown eyes. 

The Silver Alert Program has been established in order to disseminate immediate information to local media, hospitals and other organizations when a senior citizen or other individuals suffering from Alzheimer’s disease, dementia or other cognitive disorders goes missing.
