Premier Care to Open New Location Nearby

A number of business have closed on Hempstead Turnpike in the last year, but a new one is set to open. 

Heavy construction is well underway at Premier Care, which will be located in the former 25 Mart building at the intersection of East Meadow Avenue and Hempstead Turnpike in East Meadow. Premier currently operates a Levittown location at 3276 Hempstead Turnpike, as well as a Lynbrook location. 

The property has been vacant for more than a year. 

The new business, which is next door to the former Zorns building and across the street from the proposed Sonic property, will serve as a walk in medical center that will be open seven days a week. 

Along with Zorns, big businesses such as Potter's Pub, Hooters and FedEx have closed along the busy road in less than a year.
