Property Owners and School Board Meeting, Fire Prevention Open House

Wondering what's going on in Levittown this week?

Check out some events taking place in town this week and if you see we've missed something, add it to the boards.

  • The Levittown Board of Education will meet on Wednesday, October 9 at 7:30 p.m. for a regular meeting. Stay with Patch for a look at what's on the agenda and for the story from the meeting. 
  • The Levittown Property Owners Association (LPOA) will hold their monthly meeting on Tuesday, October 8, 7:30 p.m. at the Levittown Library Bluegrass entrance. Please note that this meeting will be held in meeting rooms 1 and 2, down the hall and to the right from the usual meeting location.
  • Division Avenue HS girls volleyball will hold a Dig Pink fundraiser on Tuesday, with junior varsity kicking things off at 4:30 p.m. and the varsity team following at 6:30 p.m. 
  • The Levittown Fire Department holds a fire prevention open house on Friday, October 11 from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. at the Gardiners Avenue firehouse. This week is Fire Prevention Week - learn more here. 
  • To celebrate World Habitat Day 2013 Habitat For Humanity, Nassau County is hosting its annual Walk-A-Thon (3 miles) on Sunday, October 13th at 9:00AM at Eisenhower Park in East Meadow.
