Adult Game Club
Wednesday's, September 4, 11, 18, 25, from 10 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.
There are tables available to meet and play cards, checkers, mahjong, and any other table games for fun. Tables are on a first-come, first-served basis. Join a group or bring your own players. Please bring your own game supplies.

The Board of Trustees meetings are open to the public. The agenda includes a Period for Public Expression.

How to Be a Gadget Guru: IPad
Thursday, September 19, 2:30 p.m. to 4 p.m.
This hands on class will teach you the basics how to use the library’s products on your device. These include borrowing ebooks from Overdrive magazines from Zinio, and using our mobile app. If you own an iPad, please bring it to the class fully charged, and have a valid e-mail address and password established before the class. Please bring your Apple ID & password.

The Ivy Lane Players - Adult Theater Group

A Musical Tribute to Molly Picon
Monday, September 23, 1:30 p.m.
Dr. Diane Cypkin tells the life story of this exciting first lady of the Yiddish Stage through anecdote and singing the countless songs Picon sang and wrote during her many years as an entertainer. Picon is well known for her role as Yente the matchmaker in “Fiddler on the Roof.” Dr. Cypkin is an accomplished entertainer, curator, and Professor of Media and Communications Arts at Pace University in New York. She will be accompanied on the piano by Lena Panfilova.

Monday, September 23 at 7 p.m.
It’s harvest time again! Join the Baking Coach, Inc. You will create your own
7” deep dish apple pie to take home and bake. If you have a rolling pin and medium size bowl please bring them to class; helpful but not necessary. A non-refundable $5.00 fee, check or money order, made payable to the Levittown Public Library is due upon registration.
Celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month - The 350+ Year Evolution of Salsa
Thursday, September 26, 2 p.m.
This program traces the development of Salsa including, geography, history, anthropology, ethnomusicology, religion, music, and dance history. Join Jose Obando, consultant for the Department of Musical Instruments of the Metropolitan Museum of Art and one of the founders of the SalsaMuseum in Spanish Harlem, for this multi-media program.

Children's Our Place Special Needs Storytime "Pete the Cat"
Saturday, September 7, 2:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m.
Join us for a storytime for children with special needs. Enjoy stories, songs, movement activities and a craft in a comfortable and friendly environment. This storytime is geared for children ages 5 through Elementary Levels. Parents/Caregivers should accompany the child and siblings are also welcome! Registration required. No fee.
