Sleeping Levittown Woman Hit In The Face: Police
The odd incident happened Sunday night, she told Nassau police.
LEVITTOWN, NY — Officers who responded to a residence in Levittown at 2:30 a.m. Sunday for a possible burglary were told a woman, 64, was asleep there when she was awakened by an unknown person striking her in the face with an unknown object.
The person then fled in an unknown direction, police said.
She was transported to a local area hospital for evaluation and treatment of her injuries, police said.
