Student Brings BB Gun To Division Avenue HS: Principal
Students were briefly held in place on Tuesday while police investigated, Principal John Coscia told families.

LEVITTOWN, NY — Division Avenue High School went into lockdown for a short time on Tuesday after a student had come to the school with a weapon.
Principal John Coscia told parents "police were immediately called," along with the school's director of security. Ultimately, police determined the "weapon was a BB gun."
Coscia said "All students are safe" and classes once the hold in place in place was lifted.
