Hope and Joseph of Levittown are finalists in KJoy 98.3’s “Wedding of a Lifetime” contest. The couple is up against 11 other couples vying for a chance to win a huge grand prize.
The winning couple of the contest will receive the following: a wedding for 125 guests at Sea Cliff Manor, a 6-night/7-day stay at the 5-star Palace Resort in Mexico, wedding cakes from Taste of Home Bakery, wedding gown with fittings provided by Bridal Suite of Bay Shore, $250 Visa Gift Card, a beauty package, limousine service, tuxedos for the groom and four groomsmen, teeth whitening, and more.
The story of Hope and Joseph is listed on the KJoy website:
”In 1999, Joseph moved into the house directly across the street from Hope’s family. It didn't take long for Joseph to notice the girl across the street. The two of them absolutely radiated when they were with each other. Everyone knew what they had found was more than special. They dated for awhile and then drifted apart due to their individual circumstances, college, work, family matters, etc. In my sons life, Hope was always the one “he let get away."
Apparently, Hope had always felt the same way. Even though they weren't together and both had moved away, when she ran into one of Joseph’s friends, she confided in him that “someday I am going to Marry him!” Against the odds and circumstances, Hope wound up moving back across the street from Joseph. When their paths crossed this time they were old enough to believe and commit to the love that has always existed between them.”
