LEVITTOWN, NY — Police are investigating a fire at a home in Levittown over the weekend.

The blaze is being considered as an act of arson, authorities said.

When officers arrived at the Sprucewood Drive home early Saturday, police said there was an active fire in front of the residence in a portable bathroom.

An investigation revealed that an unknown man was seen running on fire from the victim's driveway, authorities said.

The Wantagh Fire Department responded and extinguished the fire. No injuries were reported. The portable bathroom on the front lawn sustained heavy damage. The home had minor damage, police said.
