Not only did the Varsity Boys Team make the playoffs as they journey to defend their 2010 state title, the Varsity Boys team made the playoffs, as well.

The team had a rough start, but reached the goal set out by new : .

Meanwhile, helmed by made it to the playoffs, . And the stakes are higher this year, as the team defends its 2010 New York State Championship.

But that isn’t rattling , who recently won his 500th game. Just before the season ended, that he and his take this one pitch at a time.
