Applebee's Hosts School Supply Drive In Lindenhurst
A Doherty-owned Applebee's on Long Island is hosting a school supply drive on Sunday during its annual Stuff the Bus campaign.
LINDENHURST, NY — The new school year will be here soon, and Applebee's in Lindenhurst is hosting its annual Stuff the Bus school supply drive on Sunday, Aug. 10, to benefit local students and classrooms.
The Lindenhurst Applebee's, which recently got a fresh new look after a renovation, will park a bright yellow school bus outside the restaurant where community members may drop by and "stuff the bus" with school supply donations or cash contributions.
Applebee's said that all collected items and funds will be loaded directly onto the bus and delivered to nearby schools or community organizations in time for the new school year.
