Police Release Photos of Suspect Wanted for Burglary of Lindenhurst CVS
Surveillance images show suspect wearing white surgical mask as he allegedly broke into South Wellwood location to steal cigarettes.
Suffolk Police released surveillance images Wednesday of a suspect wanted for allegedly burglarizing the CVS/pharmacy on South Wellwood Avenue in Lindenhurst.
The images have been released in an effort to get the public’s help with identifying and locating the subject who, police said, broke into the store at the end of September.
According to First Precinct detectives investigating the incident, an unknown white male broke the glass on the front door of the CVS store at approximately 2 a.m. on September 27.

He entered the building, police said, and stole $2,000 worth of cigarettes from within, and exited through the front door.
Surveillance video cameras, which recorded the incident, show that the suspect was wearing a white surgical mask in an effort to hide his face, police said.

Anyone with information about this crime is asked to call Crime Stoppers anonymously at 800-220-TIPS. All calls will be kept confidential.
Suffolk County Crime Stoppers is also offering a cash reward of up to $5,000 for information that leads to an arrest.
