At The Library: The Great Gatsby, Outdoor Concert
Check out all of the great events going on at our local library this week!

Our local libraries are a source of both knowledge and entertainment, with informational and education events being hosted throughout the week.
The Lindenhurst Memorial Library often hosts these events for little or no charge, so check out the top events going on this week.
- The library is hosting an Outdoor Concert featuring Captain Jack on Thursday, August 29 at 7 p.m.
- The library will host Mother Goose Time on Wednesday, August 28 at 9:45 a.m. for babies and toddlers up to 35 months with an adult. The free program includes informal playtime, songs, rhymes and finger-play.
- A Senior Advocate from the Suffolk County Office for the Aging will be at the library to assist seniors with applications for governmental services starting at 10 a.m. on Monday, August 26.
- The library will host a free viewing of the 2013 award-winning movie "The Great Gatsby" starring Leonardo DiCaprio at 1:30 p.m. on Thursday, August 29.
