Babylon Town Announces Tax Grievance Day
All completed tax grievance forms will be accepted by the Town Assessors' Office starting May 1, and they must be submitted or postmarked no later than May 15, according to town officials.
Town has announced that this year's tax grievance day for residents is Tuesday, May 15.
The Board of Assessment Review will meet on this date in the Town board room at Town Hall - located at 200 East Sunrise Highway in Lindenhurst - from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. and from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.
However, Town officials noted that residents don't have to be present at the meeting to file a grievance.

To file all grievance forms must be either postmarked or submitted no later than this date, according to town officials.
Completed grievance forms will be accepted by the Department of Assessment beginning on Tuesday, May 1.

Tax grievance day takes place on the third Tuesday in May of each year.
