BACCA's Teen Youth Theatre Awards Set for June
In addition to the TOBY Awards on June 1, the Babylon Citizen Council on the Arts has a variety of upcoming events.
The Babylon Citizens Council on the Arts offers a variety of classes, musical and theater performances, art shows and an annual awards ceremony.
Some take place at the Arts Center in Lindenhurst; others take place at the Babylon Town Hall Annex at in North Babylon or the in Babylon Village.
One upcoming event to note is the annual Teen Youth Theatre Awards. The are set for June 1 this year. The ceremony will be held at the .

- – ATM13, (Ages 6-10), Saturday, 9 a.m. to 11 a.m., April 21 (One Class), Babylon Town Hall Annex, Room 15, Phelps Lane, North Babylon: New Instructor Christine Roepken teaches animation and studio art at the USDAN Center for the Creative and Performing Arts, and is a freelance comic book artist and illustrator. Explore the basics of color, design and 3D construction while creating a fun Spring project! The students will work with a variety of different visual and three-dimensional media; including paint, colored pencils, pastels, plasticine modeling clay and various craft materials. Students are encouraged to bring their own smocks. Sketch books are encouraged, but not required. All materials are included. The students will work with a variety of different visual and three-dimensional art media, while also working with the foundations of art and design; including composition and painting and drawing technique. Some materials include paint-colored pencils and graphic design markers. Students are encouraged to bring their own smocks. Sketch books are encouraged, but not required. All materials are included.
