Car Driven by Lindenhurst Teen Hits Woman
Police say unidentified victim struck on Route 109 late Friday night is in serious condition at Good Samaritan Hospital.
An unidentified was seriously injured Friday night in West Babylon as she was hit by a car on Route 109 that was driven by a Lindenhurst teen, Suffolk County Police said.
According to the SCPD, Don Gorham, 19, of Lindenhurst, was driving a 2000 BMW sedan eastbound on Route 109 near Straight Path when the car hit a woman as she attempted to cross the busy road at approximnately 10:20 p.m.
The , who police have not identified, is described as white or Hispanic in her mid 20s or early 30s and was wearing a white sweatshirt. She was taken to Good Samaritan Hospital in West Islip and admitted in serious condition, Suffolk Police said.

Gorham, the SCPD said, was not injured.
Police have impounded the car for a safety check, and the investigation is continuing.
