Class of 2013 Graduates Lindenhurst High School
Over 500 students attend the commencement ceremonies and leave their high school years behind.
The Class of 2013, totaling over 500 students, graduated in front of family, friends and officials on Friday evening at the Lindenhurst Middle School football field on a beautiful evening.
Speeches were given by high school principal Daniel Giordano, Suffolk County Executive Steve Bellone, Senator Chuck Schumer and others as the large class said their final farewells to 13 years of Lindy education and move on to other jobs, furthering their education or planned travels.
The graduating class totaled 543 students this year, one of the larger classes by Lindenhurst standards.
Patch will be bringing more coverage of the graduation ceremony, including speech videos, a full photo gallery and more over the coming days.
