Clerk Reminds Babylon Town Landscapers to Get Licensed
Landscapers working in the township need to licensed by the Town of Babylon, according to Clerk Carol Quirk.
Spring has sprung and with that landscapers will be out in force.
And with that Babylon Town Clerk Carol Quirk is reminding them and homeowners that all landscapers operating in the township need to be licensed by the Town of Babylon on an annual basis.
Applications could be obtained at the Town Clerk’s Office in , 200 East Sunrise Highway, in Lindenhurst.

They could also be downloaded at the Town’s website, under Forms - simply scroll down to Town Clerk for the Landscapers License Application and the Landscapers License Renewal Application.
A Landscaper Fact Sheet containing a full list of the requirements could be found there, as well as a Landscaper Registered Vehicles form.

Landscapers participating in the Town’s Adopt-a-Spot beautification program could have their license fee waived, according to , while helping to keep Babylon looking beautiful.
Through this program - and the Adopt-a-Highway and Adopt-a-Park programs - schools, local businesses, community organizations and scouting groups are can help to create cleaner, more attractive parks, green space and highways, according to town officials.
