Copiague Man Faces Charges Over Alleged Thefts: Suffolk County Police

Police said he had stolen merchandise from the Hope Depot in Copiague and the Kohl's in Deer Park.

COPIAGUE, NY — Pine Street resident Patrick O'Toole, accused of stealing from the Home Depot in Copiague and the Kohl's in Deer Park, faces multiple charges.

Police arrested O'Toole Jan. 30.

He was accused of stealing from a nailer kit at 10 a.m. Jan. 29 and a safe on Jan. 30 from the Home Depot. He was accused of stealing a tablet from the Kohl's at 11:50 a.m. Nov. 14.

Police said because O'Toole had been banned from the Home Depot over previous incidents, he was charged with third-degree burglary, petty larceny and third-degree criminal trespass for the nailer kit incident and third-degree burglary for the safe.

Also on the 30th, police charged him with petty larceny over the tablet he is alleged to have stolen from Kohl's in November.
