Today’s question:

What a difference a week makes. Lindenhurst, Long Island and the entire East Coast was gearing up for Hurricane Irene last week on the heels of an on .

The storm blew through Lindy on August 27 and 28, and by the time she left, she was downgraded to a tropical storm from a category one hurricane.

But she left a lot of damage in Lindy, including taking a whack at the docks, and many experienced flooding, plus power outages that have dragged on all week.

Now, a week later Patch was wondering:

• How did Irene affect you? What are you still dealing with? How did your family, pets, home, property, cars, boats, etc., fare? Did you experience flooding? Downed trees, power lines? Power outage? Is our power/cable/phone still not restored?
