Dynamic Fighting Concepts Set to Open in January
New mixed-martial arts facility is expected to open the first week of January.

Lindenhurst might be grooming the next rising star of the Ultimate Fighting Championship right at home.
Dynamic Fighting Concepts, a mixed-martial arts school, is expected to hold its grand opening on January 4, 2014.
The new mixed-martial arts facility, which has found popularity in leagues such as UFC, will offer both classes and private training lessons for men, women and children when it opens.
Signage on the building said that DFC will be "taking care of business" with MMA classes in striking (thai/kick/boxing), jiu-jitsu and judo, street fighting, and wrestling as well as average Joe classes for beginners.
Registrations for the new facility have already begun and deals will continue through the business' first month in operation.
The business takes over a vacant storefront at 732 North Wellwood Avenue in North Lindenhurst, which had previously been operated as a Curves women's fitness studio.
The storefront had been closed for at least the past year.
