1. Government:
- LIRR: The Long Island Rail Road will run on a holiday schedule with some extra trains added - including one westbound and five eastbound trains on the Babylon Branch, which runs through Lindenhurst. Click here for details.

- Babylon Town : Closed for the holiday; Tuesday through Friday this week the Assessor’s office has extended hours for property owners who are turning in their applications for property tax exemptions, Monday to Friday, 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., until March 1 filing deadline, details
- Library: Closed for the holiday; Vacation Game Time for Winter Recess Week in Lindenhurst, Tuesday through Sunday, more details; Winter Reading Club (CH) (YA), till February 29
- Post Office: Most post offices will be closed, and there'll be no mail delivery for the holiday.
