Why do you believe the local hero should be recognized or honored?
Marie is always thinking of others. She's pretty busy keeping her business fun and fresh, but she also volunteers and serves as the Vice President of the Chamber of Commerce of Lindenhurst (Lindy).
Marie selflessly uses her skills to help promote other businesses in Lindy too. Marie's everyday attitude emulates the wise old proverb, "when you want to go fast, go alone, but if you want to go far, go together."
Working alongside dedicated village officials and chamber of commerce members, Marie's leadership has rallied the business community to celebrate a remarkable revitalization in Lindy. The Wednesdays on Wellwood WOW events brought hundreds of shoppers to town. Lindy Pride!
