- Winter Concerts
Where/When: Elementary Schools and , December 19 to 22, 6:30 p.m. and 7 p.m.
Why Go: There are several Winter concerts happening at Schools this week. On December 19 will present its concert at 7 p.m. The same night will present its concert at 7 p.m. at the . On December 20 will have its concert at 6:30 p.m. On the same night will have its concert at 7 p.m. at the . On the second and final high school holiday will take place at 7 p.m.

- Movie: White Christmas
Where/When: , December 22, 1:30 p.m.
Why Go: Get in the Christmas spirit with this holiday classic: A successful song-and-dance team become romantically involved with a sister act and team up to save the failing Vermont inn of their former commanding general.

Where/When: of Lindenhurst, December 22, 7 p.m.
Why Go: All Tutor Time families are invited to bring a dessert to share and wear pajamas! The Polar Express story will be read and the film will be shown.

- Voices of Christmas
Where/When: Old Babylon Town Hall, December 22, 7:30 p.m.
Why Go: It's a holiday performance presented by Gersharel and Lindenhurst-based , and written by James Carey and Jesse Maldonado.
Price: $15, adults; $10, seniors and students; free, children age five and younger.
Where/When: of Lindenhurst, December 23
Why Go: Sign up to bring in a special treat to share with your class. The school will close at 6 p.m.

Where/When: Knights of Columbus-OLPH Council #794, December 31, 7:30 p.m.
Why Go: The K of C's Annual New Year's Eve Party starts with a cocktail party at 7:30 p.m. followed by a sit-down dinner with a choice of prime rib, chicken cordon bleu or baked Alaskan salmon. There'll be a DJ until 1:30 a.m., open Bar all night, champagne toast at midnight with party favors to welcome in 2012 and a mini Viennese table to finish the night.
