LI Man Killed In NJ Car Crash: Police
A Long Island man has died from injuries he sustained during a car crash in New Jersey at the end of May, state police told Patch.
WYANDANCH, NY — A Long Island man died in mid-June from injuries he sustained after a car crash several weeks prior in New Jersey, authorities told Patch.
Garry Valme, 52, of Wyandanch, died June 14 after a two-vehicle crash on the New Jersey Turnpike in Cherry Hill on May 26, State Police spokesperson Sgt. Jeffrey Lebron told Patch.
Lebron said Valme and the other driver were traveling southbound on the Turnpike around 4:15 a.m. when their vehicles collided and traveled off the roadway to the right, causing Valme's Jeep Wrangler to overturn, Lebron said.

Both drivers were brought to the hospital with "moderate" injuries, Lebron said.
