Lindenhurst Kiwanis Recognizes ‘Terrific Kids’

The Kiwanis Club of Lindenhurst recently honored two fifth grade students from Alleghany Avenue and Daniel Street elementary schools with the club’s Terrific Kids awards. This special recognition program, developed by Kiwanis International, highlights students who demonstrate strong character, self-esteem, and perseverance.

At Alleghany Avenue Elementary, Victoria Guerrero received the Terrific Kids Award, while Gabriella Romero was honored at Daniel Street Elementary.

Through the Terrific Kids program, students collaborate with their teachers to set personal goals in areas such as behavior, peer relationships, attendance, or academic performance. The initiative encourages positive growth and celebrates the achievements of young learners.
