Lindenhurst Middle School Shows Who Are Its Champions

Annual breakfast honors achievements of students nominated by teachers.

Lindenhurst Middle School students were honored at the Breakfast for Champions celebration coordinated by the middle school’s Kathy Curran on Nov. 18.

The breakfast, now in its 18th year, was held at the Lindencrest Diner and honors students who exemplify Lindy Pride at the middle school. Students are nominated by teachers and are recognized with certificates of merit while proud parents, teachers and peers look on.

“You are all here because of the things you have done and the choices you have made,” said Principal Frank Naccarato. “That’s a big part of Lindy Pride. It’s not only having pride in your community and school, but also in your accomplishments. I speak for all of the middle school staff when I say, we are proud of you.”
