Lindenhurst UFSD Seeks Input On District Swimming Pool

LINDENHURST, NY — Lindenhurst High School's pool needs help, and the community is coming together to assess the "extensive repairs" it needs.

The Lindenhurst Union Free School District and Board of Education are seeking public input regarding the future of the pool and are hosting a public meeting on Wednesday, March 5, at 8 p.m. at the McKenna Administration Building.

According to a district rep, the pool is "utilized by both the district’s swim teams and the broader community."

"Residents are encouraged to attend this upcoming forum to learn more about the proposed options for the pool and to share their feedback, ideas, and concerns," the rep added. "Your participation is vital in helping shape the future of this community resource."

The McKenna Administration Building is located at 350 Daniel St. in Lindenhurst.
