Lindy Boy Scout Obtains Eagle Ranking
Recent Lindenhurst High School grad obtains highest honor from Boy Scouts.
Lindenhurst resident Sean Fox attained the rank of Eagle Scout on October 26th, 2012.
An Eagle Court of Honor was held for him on June 11, 2013 at Wade Burns Post 7279 VFW in Lindenhurst.
Fox is a member of Troop 383, which is stationed out of Allegheny Avenue School.  Sean is the 20th Eagle Scout to obtain the honor from the Boy Scouts of America.
His Eagle project was at Developmental Disabilities Institute in Huntington where he enhanced an outdoor break area for teachers. He planted shade trees and built two benches, as well as planting perennials.
The 2012 graduate of Lindenhurst High School just finished his freshman year at Stony Brook University, where he is studying Engineering Sciences.
