Stawberry Festival
The 12th Annual Stawberry Fest will take place at on Sunday.

The festival at the church on East John Street will feature all things strawberry, from featuring strawberry sundaes and strawberry shortcake to strawberries and cream.
Tickets for a donation of $7 for a family or $4 a single could be purchased at the door or by calling the church at 631-226-1274.

The Senior Prom is set for 8 p.m. and the Eighth Grade Breakfast is also set for Friday morning.

High School Musical Jr. Children's Theatre is set for Saturday at 2 p.m.

Fundraiser
The Lindenhurst American is holding its annual fundraiser to raise money and awareness for tourette syndrome on Saturday at .
is set for 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. Admission is free for adults, but $10 per child, which includes a t-shirt, according to league officials.
Proceeds will go to support the Tourette Syndrome Association of Long Island.
Activities and features include inflatables carnival games, DJ music, sand art, face-painting and tye-dying.

The Lindenhurst AmericanAll-Stars will participate in in the Nassau County Challenger Tournament on at the Little League.

The course is being offered by the U.S. Coast Guard Auxiliary Flotilla 1-5.

A representative from SCORE - a non-profit association dedicated to educating
entrepreneurs and helping small businesses start, grow and succeed - will conduct personal business counseling at the .

The Town of is showing at Overlook Beach at 8:30 p.m. on Friday.
Admission is $10.00 donation per carload. The proceeds will go to support the , which is located between Overlook and Cedar Beaches and bears the names of the Town’s 48 residents who died on .
