Police: Lindy Woman Charged with DWI after Colliding with Cop Car
Theresa Bernagozzi, 44, of Lindenhurst, was arrested for DWI after her CRV collided with a police vehicle on Montauk Highway on Sunday night, police say.
A Lindenhurst woman has been charged with DWI following a crash with a police car on Montauk Highway on Sunday night, police said.
According to Suffolk Police, , 44, was traveling Westbound on Montauk and making a left at Buena Vista Boulevard in Lindenhurst when the Honda CRV she was driving collided with a marked police vehicle traveling Eastbound.
The officer in the police car was transported to Good Samaritan Hospital for a broken leg, according to the SCPD.

Bernagozzi was taken from the scene to the First Precinct where she was charged with DWI and held overnight. She was scheduled to go to First District Court on Monday morning, police said.
