LML Holds Special Voter Registration
Lindy residents could register to vote on March 24 at the Lindenhurst Memorial Library in order to be eligible to cast their ballot in the library's 2012-13 budget vote and trustee election on April 3.

Voter registration is being held at the library from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. To residents must be a registered voters living within the .
According to library officials, eligible voters looking to register must be a United States citizens, and 18 years old by December 31 of the year in which they register and 18 by the time of the library vote - which will be held from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. on April 3.

They must also be living at their present address for at least 30 days before the election, not be in jail or on parole for a felony conviction and not claim the right to vote elsewhere.

Registered voters will be able to vote on the LML's for the fiscal year starting July 1, 2012 and ending June 30, 2013 on April 3 - which is also Amnesty Day at the library.
