Man Charged In Fatal Suffolk Hit-And-Run: Police
A man was struck and killed in mid-June by a driver who fled, police say.
WEST BABYLON, NY — A West Babylon man was arrested Friday in connection with a hit-and-run that killed a man in Wyandanch in June, Suffolk police said.
Jason Jean-Joseph, 24, was charged with leaving the scene of a fatal motor vehicle accident after he fled a crash that killed pedestrian Hillel Fuld, 29, of Teaneck, New Jersey, on Wyandanch Avenue on June 13, police said.
Jean-Joseph struck Fuld around 7:30 p.m. June 13 and drove eastbound toward Mount Avenue, police said.

Fuld was transported to Good Samaritan University Hospital in West Islip, where he was pronounced dead, police said.
Jean-Joseph is scheduled to be arraigned at First District Court in Central Islip on August 29.
