Man Killed In Hit-And-Run Crash On LI Identified: Police

WYANDANCH, NY — A hit-and-run crash killed a man on Long Island Friday night, according to Suffolk County police.

Hillel Fuld, 29, of Teaneck, NJ, was fatally struck by a vehicle on eastbound Wyandanch Avenue, police said. The driver then fled the scene, continuing eastbound toward Mount Avenue, police said.

Fuld was transported to Good Samaritan University Hospital in West Islip, where he was pronounced dead, police said.

Police said the investigation is continuing.
