Now here’s what you need to know today:

1. SEPTA will meet tonight at 7:30 p.m. at .

2. Lindenhurst will be competing in The Games for the Physically Challenged, held this year at Mitchel Athletic Complex in Nassau County. The Games are set for June 2-5 this year, with festivities beginning with a parade of athletes at the opening ceremony on June 2 at Mitchel Field from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. Lindy will be there competing June 3.

3. There’ll also be an Assistive Technology Workshop at 7:30 p.m. at the same SEPTA meeting. It’ll be presented by 's Speech and Language Department. For more information contact SEPTA at septa.lindenhurstschools.site.eboard.com.

4. There are several :

• Lindenhurst Varsity Boys Track will be Divisional at Connetquot
• Lindenhurst Varsity Lacrosse will be at Smithtown West Tuesday at 5 p.m. Follow the playoff brackets here.

5. There’ll be a CPR training course at the Lindenhurst Junior Squires Soccer League office at the . Online registration for the Fall 2011-12 season is also open until June 16. Details are on the website.
