Meet Lucy, Shelter Pet of the Week

Lucy's made a terrific turn-around from the time she arrived at the Town of Babylon Animal Shelter, and she's now more than ready to find a forever home, according to shelter staff.

Lucy - a large, adult, short-haired, female, Labrador Retriever mix - came into the shelter as an unhappy stray with skin and ear infections. But she's being treated at the shelter and has been spayed, and staff noted that her personality is beginning to blossom.

In fact, "she's really turned into a happy girl" with the attention she's getting from the staff. All she needs now, they said, is a home sweet home.
