Meet Munchkin, Shelter Pet of the Week

Munchkin is a wide-eyed tabby kitten who initially spent time in the Town of Babylon Animal Shelter's maternity ward. He was then was fostered by a retired staff member, according to the shelter.

In that time, he's blossomed into a handsome, young feline, now about 10 weeks old and already neutered and up-to-date with routine shots, noted the shelter staff.

In his time at the shelter, Munchkin - a domestic, short-hair tabby mix with gray and white coloring - has also modeled some petite holiday sweaters - even one designed for a little girl kitty, noted the staff.

"The sweaters looked great on him," the staff said. And you could see for yourself by clicking through the accompanying images the staff took of him modeling those sweaters.
