Meet Shorty, Shelter Pet of the Week
Looking for a new family pet? This sweet pup might be the right one for you.
It might be cold outside, but that's never stopped any dog who loves to run and play outside - especially Shorty.
One of the featured adoptable animals at the Town of Babylon Animal Shelter, Shorty's an active pit bull terrier/German shepherd mix.
And at a young one-and-a-half years old she loves to play, according to shelter staff. In fact, she really "loves to run around with toys in the yard."

Shorty, an already-spayed, medium-sized pup with short, tan/blonde fur, came to the shelter recently.
However, she's hoping to change her address and find a forever home with humans who enjoy being outside and having fun as much as she does.
