Take a look through the Lindy Lens at highlights of the night at Lindenhurst High School presented by the LHS Science Club.

Mike Polochak, teacher at , and the LHS Science Club organized "an amazing night" for the Lindenhurst community, according to school officials.

For the third year Polochak and the Club's student scientists presented an Evening of Science designed to excite and educate younger students in the about the world of science.

Once again kids of all ages and their parents were given a chance to work with "gooey gunk" or go magnet fishing.

They also got to witness experiments that had to do with the science of food, and had the chance to see the power of static electricity with a hands-on, interactive Van de Graaff generator.
