Photos: Lindenhurst Marks 10th Anniversary of 9/11, Part One

The Lindenhurst community unites to remember those lost in the attacks on 9/11, now a decade ago.

Lindenhurst residents, officials, firefighters and politicians came together on the 10th anniversary of 9/11 to honor the memory of the eight residents who died in the attacks on the World Trade Center.

Those eight residents were: Joseph Angelini, Jr., Joseph Angelini, Sr., Susan M. Clyne, Tara Moore Debek, Geoffrey E. Guja, Gary H. Lee, Catherine Lisa LoGuidice and Laurence Nedell.

The community gathered in support of the families of those residents in Village Square Park at to walk in a silent procession to the Lindenhurst Remembers Memorial Garden.
