Photos: Work Continues on Bergen Point Docks

The fishing docks were destroyed by the storm surge of Hurricane Sandy.

Hurricane Sandy damaged or destroyed a lot of our local coastline buildings and homes during the October onslaught, but there are signs around the area that things are getting back to normal.

The Bergen Point Docks, around the corner from the Bergen Point Golf Course, have started to spring back to life, as evidenced by these Lindy Lens photos.

While still surrounded by a metal fence to keep people away, work has continued on the small strip of docks.

The new wood planks, mainframe and benches have been installed along the path of the old dock and a new concrete ramp has been built.
